This is "the little one"!

That kid right there is the reason why I've developed a strong love for taking pictures! Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed taking pictures for as long as I can remember but the pictures I've captured of this little guy are more special to me than anything I own! About a year ago my computer suffered a virus and subsequently I lost all my pictures, all! Let me tell you, my world was shattered but thanks to a computer savvy friend, my precious photos were restored! In that moment I learned that I could lose pretty much anything I own and (although I hate to say it) be OK, losing my pictures however are something that I probably couldn't get over.

Thanks to all the great advances in technology and photography we are now able to store thousands (and I really do mean thousands) of pictures on memory storage alone. No more keeping pictures in tangible photo albums, left to succumb to the weather.

Whenever I display a photo in my home I am also at peace knowing that I have a backup available at the touch of a (few) button(s)!

Over the last couple of years I've offered to take pictures for my friends and their little ones and I've really enjoyed it! So much so that I'm going to attempt to make a small business out of it (finger's crossed)!
